The Master of Microbial Biotechnology (MMB) program at NC State University is recognized as one of the leading Professional Science Master’s programs in the nation. Program Objective: Biotechnology companies require professionals with scientific expertise who can also approach industry challenges from a business standpoint. However, traditional science programs often lack the business and professional training these companies highly value. The MMB program, established in 2003, was designed to bridge this gap.
