Process Engineer
I worked with BioMerieux over the summer as a process engineer in the Industrialization Department. I was able to work cross-functionally with multiple departments while there to learn different skills within quality and process engineering efforts.
Tasks I completed:
●Authored and revised 5+ technical assessments, ensuring clear, compliant documentation for manufacturing procedures
● Participated in 3 product securitization projects, ensuring adherence to strict medical device regulations
● Gained hands-on experience utilizing a variety of industrialization lab tools for process development and analysis
●Started a tech qualification that would be later used in calibration and measurement efforts of material
●Developed a comprehensive spreadsheet that allowed for easy identification and location of all raw materials and their associated SOPs and related tests
●For any raw materials that did not have technical assessments, started to author technical assessments to fill in those gaps
