Welcome!
Showcasing My Academic & Professional Journey
Greetings!
My name is Lola Olosu & I am a first-year graduate student at North Carolina State University, currently pursuing a Professional Science Master degree in Microbial Biotechnology (MMB). I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for undergrad and received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. I am focused on gaining extensive knowledge of the biotechnology field to curate a concentrated skillset that will allow me to integrate seamlessly into the industry.
I have a wide range of academic and professional experience ranging from academic lab expertise, community leadership, public health, and hospitality. However, my experiences will always influence and tie back to my drive for science and business. This is the reason I was drawn to the MMB program, as it is the perfect fusion of both industries.

In my spare time, I love to dance, explore new dishes, and travel to new destinations.

Career Objective
I aim to build a career centered around clinical research, leveraging my diverse experiences, where I can apply my progressive training in biotechnology, including experimental design, data analysis, and molecular biology techniques. My experience in laboratory research and business consulting has equipped me with critical skills such as problem-solving, project management, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. I am passionate about contributing to advancements in healthcare by translating scientific discoveries into clinical & regulatory applications that improve patient outcomes.
